Cool stuff. I never thought of using a water jut to chop a windshield but when you think about it, it's a perfect application for the machine.
Using an abrasive tool like a die grinder or sand blaster just seems like a lot of work with more chances to crack the glass.
Successive scribing and heating to cut a windshield (glass is similarly cut in many other art forms):
