same reason people cheer when a nascar wreck
nascar's are multimillion dollar race teams with sponsors

this is a guys personal car

    big difference
no difference, at all, they cheer because it's not them,
your post made no sense, sponsors or not, people don't change why they cheer for someone Else's misfortunes

DAMN! was not expecting that...thought maybe the cap would come off and dent a fender or something...not blow the whole damn thing off...that sucks!

Any speculation on WHYit blew off the car? ??? I can't say i have ever seen a slick come apart that bad on a burn out. Seen Top Fuel tire do that on top end but wow.

I've seen a couple do that starter, but certainly not many.

If the tire picks up a rock and it doesn't get "cleaned" off when the driver blips the throttle in the water box, it can cut right through a soft tire on a burnout.

Either that or the tire had a flaw in it that exposed itself on this burnout.
