I just had my little 2-stroke snowblower running on 100%
I started it up on gas and let it run for a little bit...looked in the tank to see how much gas was left then when it got almost empty I poured it in. At first it started reving up and down and I could smell the nitro, so I fiddeled with it and it didn't really change. It sounded like it would rev up a because it was running out of fuel, I just took the float bowl off and took the neddle right out and started it up again and it ran great. I couldn't get any flames and I think I should pre-mix a little oil to make it live.
I came inside to warm up and figure out how to video this for you guys.

I've never put a video on you-tube before but I'm pretty sure I can email one.
You can really smell it but I can get any flames, maybe it's to bright out?

shweeeeet, thinking of trying to run my old dandy pocket bike on 80 to 90 % . The links that Jefff posted on my 2stroke nitro question in the tech post sells gas ,nitro and propylene ( i think thats what it was!)

I had a friend that lived in Iowa in 78-79 when I was there took his snow blower ( it had a tach on it) and he put a air cleaner on it over the four stroke flywheel cooling fins then ran it int o the front of the carb told me he gained 50 RPM LOL It looked like crap but those where the days!

No alcohol was involved, it was just a case of ADD and nitro. I had a back fire yesterday and might have blown out a reed valve...It was really throwing the snow though, and where it would have bogged and stalled on gas, it just kept chugging along. It probably really needed a bigger jet, that and it was pretty bright out yesterday so no flames.
I am now turning my attention to a little 4-stroke briggs & stratton I have. I think it has more compression plus I don't have to worry about mixing oil.

Do keep us up to date on the B&S 4-stroke. I've often shared in the same desire to throw a small huffer on one and drown it with nitro.
