Every year on Easter weekend, several small downs in the middle of Nebraska put on a cruise called "Rod Run", which is about 100-200 cars cruising from city to city (bar to bar), none of these cities actually have a population of more than 400 people, so we pretty much own the city for an hour or two! The final stop has a LEGAL burnout contest put on by the police and fire department. Pay $10, get two burnouts for free! Half the money goes to the winner, the other half goes to the fire department. Great times!
