I heard a radio commercial last weekend mentioning Janis,Jimi,Lennon etc. that said "Heaven must have a hell of a band" ..well they apparently have a kickass race team too.

I met him at the NHRA Hot Rod Reunion in Bowling Green a few years ago. Really cool guy - I'm sorry to hear this. He was there with a vintage top fueler he'd restored, I think it was the Jade Grenade. It was just beautiful, he was a hell of a craftsman, as well as a racer.
