Re: Ever heard of this before??
I can't say for sure. It's kinda ringing a bell, but I don't know if it's because of Iso Griffith. Here's some more info on it.

Re: Ever heard of this before??
interesting..
but where did 289 come from, if they used plymouth 273 ci?
some of the drawings are intense.. I find the cobra chassis as extreme as the corvette stingray..
the drawings show his version down the middle...with a plymouth engine. Definitely a missing link in typical car history about that type of chassis.Previously boxer3main

Re: Ever heard of this before??
Short history:Car dealer Jack Griffith originaly used Brittish TVR coupes and had a deal with FOMOCO for engines.
Built a few then contacted an American by the name of Frank Reisner building cars in Italy. The name of his business was
you guessed it,Intermechannica.Sold his dealership but ran into money probs.Lost Ford deal went with Plymouth engines.
Had a young man named Mark Donohue(yep, that one)working for him,but ran out of financing.Sold assets to a magazine writer
I think his name was Steve Smith who put Ford engines back into them and renamed them Omega. He built a few but couldn't make a go out of it.Sold rights to name to G.M.Calypornya...near the beach
