I think the end point was mentioned in there somewhere...media center...I'd have to look back.

Right now RoadTourExpress is getting the last details/info in place, to be good-to-go Monday a.m. We have our route set, El Cajon/Hemet/Lake Elsinore/Coast, almost all two-lane roads through the back country...to meet with CDM Bill Monday eve.
                  ...

Re: We need one more co-pilot for the BangShift Road Tour Express Team

The end point will be at the Embassy Suites hotel, it is right off the runway south of LAX.

There is a SEMA Motor Sports Council Media Trade Conference going on there. That is a big long name for what amounts to a bunch of media & industry folk having meetings all week long to find ways they can work together on projects.

It isn't really a "publicized event", and it certainly isn't a very big deal to see or attend if you're not a tech writer or product manufacturer.

The destination of the Road Tour Express really isn't supposed to be a big deal... the DRIVE is what it is all about.

It does have to end somewhere, and the hotel offers an "easy" solution to have our packages picked-up and shipped back to us since Chad will be there.

;D some motivational quotes! I'm sure you've all heard these but here goes:

                        On Winning:
The winner ain't the one with the fastest car its the one who refuses to lose.
                        ~Dale Earnhardt

                        On Safety:
The best car safety device is a rear-view mirror with a cop in it.
                        ~Dudley Moore

                        On your newly detailed ride:
When travelling down the freeway, the first bug to hit a clean windshield will always land directly in front of the driver's face.
                        ~Unknown

                        On Navigating Freeways:
When everything's coming your way, you're in the wrong lane.
                        ~Unknown
                        :D ;) 8) : :-* :-*
That awkward moment when you realize it IS your circus and those ARE your monkeys!

If Nick and Jeff end up near LAX, they need to stop at the landmark restaurant The Proud Bird, and see all the planes there. Aviation blvd and 111th. They can also scarf down red meat while watching the airliners land.
