I wouldn't be surprised if this car shows up at B/J or Meacum's.......some collector will want it, I'll bet.

The price is not to ridiculous for what it is either, some collector will drive it into the ridiculous range.

It's all about documentation. The papers this guy can produce will decide the value.

I wonder if, when the egyptians were chiseling the Rosetta stone, someone said we could make a nice column out of that piece of marble.... why do we need a marker that tells people what they already know?

I hope that car is bought by a collector for huge bucks - it would guarantee that car would stay the same way forever - so when the next, next or even next generation wonders how they manufactured cars in the 70s - they can look at that car....

That's an amazing, unique piece of history.

It never had a title so you cannot register it. GM sells a ton of these same type of cars and they cannot be titled or driven, you could get a donor car and use the vin. plates off it.

whanna bet, the kit market has titled cars for years.
the RMV can issue a new vin to it,

if the truth of the car is never a number.. someone has got to give one... that would seem silly just to let it sit there.

maine is the biggest dumbass ever when it comes to titles.. there is so many holes I assume good people driving stolen cars and don't even know it...

I have a 74 chevelle out there somewhere....legal by maine jackassery only.
