            Tennessee, Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New York, Connecticut, Massachusets, North Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Mississppi, Arkansas, Missouri, Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona are all the states I've driven in. I've been in Michigan, Minnesota, and California too, but I was either a kid or on layovers in a plane. So driven in 24, set foot in 27. I need some more road trips. :-\

            EDIT: Forgot to add that I don't use GPS. Hell, I don't even like using regular maps when I'm cruising. I'll usually scribble down directions and check the map occasionally on the way just to get my bearings. If it's mostly interstate travel, I'll just get a map of the city I'm going to once I get there.

                          Boxer hit on it above, does it count for the purposes of this study if you fly somewhere and then get out and drive? What are the rules?

                              Okay, I've driven a car in 18 states and 5 Canadian provinces.

                              I rode my bicycle from my doorstep to 13 states, which includes a few out West I've never driven a car in. Did drive a borrowed-loaned El Camino in Kansas to a farm repair shop after my bicycle broke down, so that one's on both lists.

                                Every state west of the Mississippi, plus every state south of the Mason-Dixon line except Delaware. Add Penns. and New Jersey, flew into Philly and drove to Fort Dix. :D Then, when stationed in WEST Germany, France, Luxembourg, Italy, Denmark, Switzerland and maybe a couple others, just don't remember because of all the good beer back then. I had a little Ford Taunus with a 4-banger and 4-on-the-tree that a few of us would take on road trips when we could get a weekend pass. ;D
