  • midwest road courses

After reading the article in hotrod last month I've decided I really want to do a track day. The wife's DD is a Subaru WRX which should do the trick. I know they have an infield road course at Newton but I've never heard of them having track days. I think the wife would probably get a real kick out of doing it too, thought it might be a good weekend away for us.

Anybody know the nearest place to SE Iowa that this can be done?

I think omaha has a track. I don't know if they have track days or not.
    Diesel geek might know.

It would be cool if newton does have track days I wouldn't mind going down there for that.

Just outside of Omaha, in the tiny little burg of Pacific Junction, Iowa is a cool little place called Mid America Motorplex. They have a road course and an 1/8th mile dragstrip.

There is also a state-of-the-art road course in Topeka, KS @ Heartland Park Topeka
