  • CNC plasma cutting

Between building my truck and the various other projects I've usually got going on I'm always wishing I had a CNC plasma cutter to cut out brackets plates etc. I keep thinking there's surely got to be a place where you can email a cad file and have some parts cut and shipped to you at a reasonable cost but have been unable to find anything like that. There's a shop in town here that has a water jet but they are very expensive. I got quoted $300 for four small suspension link brackets that I already had fully drawn up in autocad.

Is there such a thing or am I out of luck? Thanks

    Re: CNC plasma cutting

Might be able to help you, p.m. me. I don't have the device but a great guy I frequently work with does. Typically, he cuts, I bend, and who-ever ships. Waterjet and laser are great but not always the best way when cost is a consideration. We'd need to know where you're at, and what-type material you are wishing for.
