For those temps, March. If you are talking going across the lower part of the country. But, you will have differing weather the whole way. Could be much warmer, could be colder, rain, snow. October, November would work too.BS'er formally known as Rebeldryver

Interstate 10... dodge Hurricanes if you go in later summer to fall... Enjoy Houston, and San Antonio on the trip, red Barn or Red Roof steakhouse in SA is pretty good. Its just off the 410..Comment

It's ok,you get a lot but Texas Land and Cattle Co.gets my money about every 3 months.
On your trip plans.....
I do San Antonio-LA every year,Early March tends to be cooler than late. Late March tends to start into Thunderstorm season in NM and AZ.
