Re: typical meeting between the NHRA and the sportsman racers
Why do I have a drag car sitting in my yard that hasnt been run in years? Oh yeah, all the rule changes and extra equipment I need to make my car legal varies year to year and it isnt worth the time and effort to go to the track anymore. Cant race FAST because they wont allow my E85, gotta run gasoline. I wonder what it would be like if I had been in some of the faster or stock classes, it amazes me that anyone still wants to go racing.

Someone help me out here but didn't NHRA try an All Pro Show once only to have it flop, I'm thinking they called it the "Super Nationals" or something like that.
The 1970 World Finals at Ontario were telecast live and do to the timing of the Commercials there were more Sportsman races shown then the Funny Car and Top Fuel races, NHRA was very upset about that and I think that might have been the last live telecast?

The NHRA is on tv? Every time I try to watch it theres women's softball or bowling or some other garbage on.Coming at you live from the birthplace of GM,Flint,Mi. Where your car is worth more than the property it's parked on.
