Last I checked, not the safest thing to do to glass, even if it is shatterproof (I can't remember what they call it, tempered?)

gm just did a recall to REMOVE this feature from the vehicle. bring the car/truck in lose heated fluid, gain $100.

as it gets colder the 125 is not 125F anymore..
where is the 125 measured from? a 70 degree day?

they ought to mention it.

GM recalled it because it tended to start a fire...which melts the ice, but not in the way intended.
