      X2 on that!

Imagine some kid in the south, that has a Dad on a Cup team, monday morning meet " men, this is what we're working on at lunch" ;D

And a kid in the same pack, with a nailpolish-painted door wedge and a spoon taped to the roof would most likely still win.

      Great American funny right here!

Having Girls, now 21 and 17,I missed out on PWD.
I have a 2yo grandson so maybe in 5 years or so.....
BTW was the Vintage class for the cars or drivers?LOL.
Sounds like your car was stock 1978 and the "winners" may have been "prepped" a little.

there is no rule like that,, just can't weight in over the 5 oz
we always hollowed out the body in "key" areas and added weight (fishing lead) to key areas
unless they've changed that rule.. this was 80-83
The key word was My pack's rules I never said it was the offical BSA rule, I was there that was the rule. Rules may change from location to location and time to time.
how so, iirc the top 3 cars go to a reginal ,then state
having a rule that would disalow a kids car , doesn't sound right
