Look what I just Scored!!!!!!

You just got to love when you can get a Bryant billet crankshaft and Carrillo billet rods for about a 10th of their original cost. The crank has a 3.270 stoke with 2.300 main and 1.850 rod journals and the rods are 6.125 in length, it even comes with coated wrist pins. Only drawback if you want to call it that is the crank is used and has been turned .010 on both the mains and rods. But being billet I'm sure it's still pretty strong enough. ;)

nice stuff!! one time I got a old nascar crank, rods, and pistons
it was all light and freaky I sold it to a guy that wanted to spend the $$$
on the funky rings and bearings for it :o

Just check out ebay, there are lots of billet cranks like this on there and some are even cheaper than I paid and they are not just Chevy cranks, there are Ford and Dodge cranks to. Just search "billet crank(crankshaft)", "Bryant Crank(crankshaft)", or "Nascar Crank(crankshaft)". Right now for you Ford guys there are a bunch of them on there. ;)

As for the bearings the mains use a special bearing that allows you to run a small journal crank in a large journal block, I've already found them for about $80. And my buddy Bob at Loper's said to just find the part number for the rod bearings and he'd be able to order me the right ones.

I'm really happy I found this since it saved me about $6000 in buying this stuff new. And not bad for getting it less than a Cleveland. ;)

Didn't say in the ad, but most of the one's I looked at say they only have a couple of races on them.
