an other regan smith, f up..
let me cut off carl edwards at 198 mph..
If you're in the front of the pack, no one to screw up in front of you. :D
Funny, when interviewed, Carl said it was his fault.
As to losing hp cause of E15, that's factually incorrect. Losing mpg, that is correct. According to Tim Wursz, Rocket Brand VP that attended EMC, the E10 will make more horsepower/tq but needed 7% more fuel. I believe that trend remains with the small additonal amount of ethanol in E15.

well, as seen as RCR/DEI engine room said they lost 60-70hp.
and hendrick ditto.. I'll go with the guys building millions of dollars worth of powerplants.
I guess those guys really suck at engine building because the guy who runs Toyoda's program said this in a NASCAR.com story --
"Andy Graves pointed out that the E15 provided a slight bump in horsepower, perhaps 3 percent on an "open" engine and a little less with a restrictor-plate engine. David Currier, Toyota Racing Development vice president of engine engineering, concurred."
I couldn't believe bobby kennedy is still working for mikey waltrip , saw him interviewed on tv
thought he got banned for life over that rocket fuel mtbe napalm motor incident a few years ago
Here is a fact in the real world. Gasoline comes in the tanks at your local fuel depot at 85 octane, 10% ethanol gives it the boost to 87, 93 octane is refined to that higher rate.
So go figure what race gas is and what the ethanol does to boost octane.
