What a finish. How refreshing to see a guy like him do the great job he did. As you know I don't usually watch NASCAR any more, but decided to watch it today to see if there were any changes and boy am I glad I did!Comment

The good part of that win was the fact that he had ran up front all day long, he drove like a pro, drafted like one, and finished like one and took it home clean. He handled the press as good as a 20 y/o could, and his Mom did a good job also.

That was the first Daytona 500 I've seen sober in years, and wow, what a race.
The whole time, I realized that it could be anyone's race... but isn't it crazy how well the kid is doing in his first Daytona race?!?!
I was even daring enough to think: I hope he finishes in the top 10, that would be an amazing thing for a rookie so young!
...and then he goes and wins it! Wow!
Would have been nice if Labonte had finished in second, but that's racing.Comment
