    While sitting here watching the Cannonball run with my boy, I decided to find out a little bit about Brock Yates ambulance from the Cannonball run (movie and the real race) I did not find much but did find this interview...a quick fun read.

    I wanted to find some specs on the van itself..maybe engine size and what not...cant find jack

    Did find that someone was recreating it back in 06 but couldn't find any thing more than a few construction pics and some limited info...

    Has anyone read or heard anything about how Brock is doing these days? I read his column in Vintage Motorsport last year where he wrote of his battles with the early onslaught of Alzheimer's Disease but I have not heard much else since...

    If he and his family are keeping things private, I totally respect that decision. Brock is one of my favorite writers, hope all is well as can be...

      I have heard nothing of his current health. There is little I can find using my google-fu about it either so I assume the family is keeping it private.
