The funny thing about this thread is that I started it and I rarely have a beer. Mostly cuz my wife doesn't like it on my breath. She can get all tipsy on her wine, though, and its ok. ;D

Nothing better than Jack and water on a hot summer day. I never could get the hang of drinking beer, even when I worked for Coors. Talk about getting crap from your co-workers......

Kind of you to provide that info. I have a friend who loved beer but had a battle with the bottle and has given up alcohol completely, so I was aware of these choices. The deal for me is that I really don't LIKE beer. Just not my cup of foam, I guess.

Dan, there are plenty of high quality, great tasting beers that are alcohol free if you care to try them. ;)

Alcohol is completely natural but you don't need it to enjoy.

..But don't be scared to try alcohol-free beer. There is a link above that I posted for Dan, and you'll see some really good brands make it.
Anyone who tells you it's crap, I'll guarantee hasn't tried it. ;)

Yeah - on hot summer days when I've still got a lot of work to do, I'll enjoy a "near-beer" or two. Still come away refreshed, but not being put asleep by the alchohol...

well here is what is in the shop fridge now
1) hop rod rye, from Bear republic , Healdsburg,California
2) spaten Optimator , Germany
3) spaten premium, Germany
4) Blithering idiot, weyerbacher brewery, easton pa (11.3% abv)
5) merry monks, (weyerbacher brewery,
6) double simcoe ipa, (9%abv) ,weyerbacher brewery
7) old heathen imperial stout,(8% abv) weyerbacher brewery
8) ithaca pils, ithaca brewing,ithaca new york
9) flower power ipa, ithaca brewing
10)cascazilla ,ithaca brewing
11) finger lakes brown,ithaca brewing
12) franziskaner Hefe-Weisse
these are in no order, plus I keep others for THE OTHERS. Coors Light and Corona are never in my garage,well unless you bring them.
I usally have a 1/4 on tap, last 2 were labatt Blue.

Those of you in Ca, should try the Bear Republic products.

You have the best sounding fridge of all. I don't drink any of the options listed in the Poll. Right now I only have one Belgian Trappist ale in my fridge. I was at the bottle cap collectors convention last weekend so my beer stock is real low right now......


Hey anyone drinking anything unusual, save me the caps. I can't get that many US micros in this area of the country and I am a serious bottle cap collector. I have over 14,000 different US beer bottle caps in my collection...
