ABSOLUTELY! Man, I wanted one of those soooo bad about 8 years ago. I was actually talking with an Aussie on the Mustang forum I hang out on, about getting one. He volunteered to help me look for one. But the reality of it all kept me in check...didn't have the money and I wasn't going to trust anybody half way around the world buying something sight un seen. Yes, that's on the top of the list.
In real life, I'll settle for a 57-59 Ford wagon or a 58-60 Tbird
I had a pilot in Fort Hood who owns a '73 XB Fairmont coupe, blacked out. Lust at first sight.
Editor-at-Large at...well, here, of course!
"Remy-Z, you've outdone yourself again, I thought a Mirada was the icing on the cake of rodding, but this Imperial is the spread of little 99-cent candy letters spelling out "EAT ME" on top of that cake."
1979 Pontiac Firebird mild 350 and a 4 speed. Black, not really pretty, but not to bad. Satin finish centerlines, some old racing buckets and old harnesses tied into a 4 point rollbar. Stock ride height or maybe jacked up just a hair in the rear. Recently I was talking cars with a chick, and when the question of what we each drove came up, she looked at me and said I didn't really seem like the Focus type. I need a different car.
I don't want the top chopped. I don't want a 350/350 combo. Give me the flattie/3 on the tree all day long. I'd change it to a 12 volt electrical system, give it a few other updates, and just drive it.
