I have to admit, that's quite the porn stache you're sporting there! :D

I've never been one to "dress up" because I'm a car guy. And I'm of the opinion that most car guys don't. Most of these people at these rockabily shindigs have these cars because it fits in with their image (along with the hair and the clothes), not because they're car people. Tattoos? Never seen the reason to get one, but hey, it's a free country. :-\

I think using the word lifestyle is a sign of a fad chaser.

The last "ratrod" show I went to was at a local tattoo shop, called Hot Rod tattoos. If they'd used the money that went for all the tats and hair grease on their cars, maybe they wouldnt have to trailer them to spot behind a building a block away and drive up like they've been on the road all day.

I have been wearing black T shirts since high school in the 80s. Mainly because I like black, and also because it makes me look smaller. Dont give a rats ass about being tough. No way in hell will I cuff my jeans either, just isnt happening. My idea of putting on something nice is a pair of jeans since I am usually wearing the stuff I work on cars in. Carpenter and cargo pants since they have handy pockets and rip stop fabric, feels comfy like BDUs without the cammo pattern.

I dont get the whole rockabily and 40s hair style thing either.

Sister does tats in Omaha, said she would hook me up with one if I ever drew something for it, been thinking I could do a sleeve with all the things I have done and been part of on it, sorta like a life story. Pontiacs, USAF, Airlift, things like that.
