      It should all be run what ya brung .... EFI/Carb/Nitrous.....whatever. Instead of 358 ci, let's go to a 5.0 rule .....
      Whiskey for my men ... and beer for their horses!

        *And this is on Methanol, which requires a ton more fuel flow
        And that is why I was asking, because an injector that can support 800hp on gas is only going to supply about 400hp on Methanol.

        BIG injectors indeed........

          Randal, thanks for the post re Moran's injectors. They have some great YouTube video re how much those monster will flow and the dispersion pattern. I'd be willing to bet a round of beers at DW that those are what Larry Larson has on his car and maybe only eight of them.
          I'm sure they'll find positives running EFI, but I don't think it's going to be anywhere near what they'll learn in cylinder head technology, I'm sure new break throughs in runner design are on their way....... ;)

              Pro Stock is so healthy they are running multiple pairs of cars from MANUFACTURERS THAT NO LONGER EXIST.
              That which you manifest is before you.

                Re: MAJOR RULE CHANGES COMING TO NHRA PRO STOCK?

                C'mon guys, the cost of the injectors is a minute cost compared to the overall cost of a pro-stock motor. The Moran injectors are $188 to about $250 an injector. A drop in the bucket.

                Hell, they're cheap enough for me to buy some. LOL

                  Pro stocker dont go very many parts motorwise, most run the valves set the air gap on the clutch, jetting and chip changes and they are ready to rock.

                    and back at the shop , ??
                    just because they don't open them up every round like T/F doesn't mean the parts last all that long

                                Time=Money.

                                Whether you're spending the time on your own machine, or farming it out, there is still a cost.
