Today, at the Goodguys Show in Del Mar Chad hung up his mic long enough to compete in the Editors Challenge on the Autocross. While driving Bret Voekels of Ride Tech shiny, just completed '69 Mustang FB, with Bret riding shot gun, Chad hammered on the car untils parts literally flew off. This time a heat sheild on the exhaust went skiddering across the track.
Chad wasnt the only editor hard on the cars. Optima Batteries One Lap of America Camaro suffered a totally smoked clutch. Detroit Speed stepped up with their new '63 Nova only to have Steven Rupp snap the front sway bar mount. Brets Mustang got up close and personal with the timing lights at the end of the course and suffered trim dents on the very first run.
The price of sponsorship got a tad higher today.
