  • Goliath is back at home!

    Man, what a great night!

Waited at the door for my gas tank until 7pm, snatched it from the hands of the UPS driver, picked up my pop and headed to Tube Chassis to finish off the truck job and bring it home. We installed the tank, put the cab back together, bolted the seat in and I cruised it home, with dad following in my truck.

The best part was dad dropping my truck off and me driving him home in Goliath. That was a pretty cool moment, after all the rides I have taken with him in his stuff, it was really cool to drive him in mine!

Truck ran good, it REALLY likes 40mph. That's the sweet spot, but I did jam it up to 55 in one stretch and everything was OK.

I'm gonna take it to work tomorrow. I'm sure my boss will have no idea what to make of this.

Wish I was using the company gas card, it would be cheaper! I filled the 20 gallon tank tonight....yikes.

Monte, if I leave now, I'd still be a week late. I'll be there in my boring truck though.
