Grumpy old men (like me) don’t die, they just get older & grumpier while wishing for the good old days when their DD ran low 13s and Betties were as easy to taste as pickling berries from a bush….and there was no internet just skin magazines!

You don't need to "retrieve" your old username. You still have it. If you guys just follow the instructions, which we had up for days and days and days ahead of time, you would be all good.

      Here are the instructions:

      Go to the forums
      Enter your username
      DO NOT ENTER YOUR PASSWORD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Click on the link above your username where it says. "Forgotten your password?" Click here.
It will then email you to your email address on file. The instructions are so easy after that even you guys can do it. Depending on the browser you are using, you will get one or two emails in order to be logged in again. If you get two, the first one will be to verify you are who you say you are, and all you have to do is click a link. The second email will then come and give you a computer generated password.
Once you login using that password, you can change it by going to Settings, and then Email and Password down on the left. Change your password to whatever you want.

Not rocket science boys. Just do it like we told you to.

We changed the user classifications, and the numbers of posts required slightly. Post away and you'll be back at it.

Look at the top of the page on the right where it says "Tech Stories", put the mouse on it and a menu will appear, click on "Drivetrain".

Anyone having troubles with uploading photos from your home computer, try this, click on the two A's, one blue, one black, over in the right corner just above the box you type in for a post, then click on the image icon, it should have a pop up to load images from your desktop.

Worked for me, just make sure the pic's aren't to big, or they won't upload.

Does anyone go back and read the comments to the blogs a couple days after you've read the blog?
