My anecdotal evidence is that no two people with diabetes is the same. Of course there are some general guidlines to go by, but treatment and effects are very person specific. What works for someone else may not be right for you. What works for you today, may not be what works several months later. Some diabetics are "brittle" , meaning that their glucose levels change paradoxically. It is one of those diseases that required constant vigilance and adaptability.

The advice given here is solid. Seek a specialist and work with them. Don't ever think that just because you feel fine that you can drop your guard. Diabetes will chip away at your heart, eyes, neural, kidneys, vasculature, etc. The effects of prolonged non-treatment are not nice.

I have a Thursday appointment. I have a feeling all these pills are screwing with my stomach and I want to talk to the doctor about that.
