I'll be at home in front of the tube watching the NHRA at Houston this weekend, too much yard work and a garage to hopefully get organized.

Now that my "weekend" is on Monday and Tuesday that's the only time I can work on my junk. The only thing I have planned is an oil change on the Vic.
Just groovin' to my own tune.

Dropping a 400 sbc in a '38 Chevy then trying to get time to adjust the lifters and tune the '55 up.

            finally some warmth.

149 days after a headgasket, oil pump, water pump, equal headers...single digits , very short hours in daylight...

Should be finalizing stuff in peaceful weather and pretending I am not ten years older to the average one.

I only lost one chunk of one more tooth this year defying human logic. Doing great in my dainty world.

enjoy the weekend. bigger to some than others.

There is the Edelbrock Revved Up For Kids on Sunday. I was thinking about going to the Beverly Concours D'Elegance as something different to look at. This year it's being held at the Gatsby era Greystone Manor. The $100 spectator entrance fee was a bit too much to swallow even with the free food and martini bars.

I need to get the Impala on it's wheels this weekend. I am not leaving the country with it still on jackstands.

It's Queen's Day here in The Netherlands this sunday, so that means I'll be in my garage wrenching on my junk, just like every other sunday mostly...

finish the upper control arms for the Buick. check the alignment. maybe do frame to cab mounts for the Studebaker (If I'm extra ambitious).

is it just yours or is it a 55-57 trait?
