    upside down is it?

no worse than a japanese boxer engine.

humor a low height door knob, at least it opens for little people.

So cut a hole and have a pet door.

It's like finally making a nice bend and perfect double-flare, and realizing you forgot the fitting. Darn.

Other than installing a door on the floor, am I missing something?
        Escaped on a technicality.

I am carpenter and I say hang it! See who figures it out. It's a conversation starter. If you do something poorly enough no one will ask you to do it again. (although it looks like you did a really nice job other than the obvious) If some one starts bitching about it, fire up the stang ahhh the white noise of a BBF.

Well I have stopped buying stuff for cars I don't own. Is that a step in the right or wrong direction?

Just hang all the rest the same way, and if anyone comments, look at them like they are SO behind the times and comment on how this is the latest trend in Better Homes & Gardens....

Can't hang it like that. The door knob would end up a bizarre height. Besides I couldn't let myself do that.

It's one of those -> You're so focused on doing a good job that you miss the obvious. Kinda like lettering a sign and paying so much attention to how the letters look, you leave one out. lol

yep - we have SOTP signs around here from time to time ... I blame weed, but sometimes it's just the distractions in the house.

White doors, do you really notice the inlay if the handle is in the right place?

Oh ya, I think everyone does a bone head move a few times in their lives. For me it was the other day, was taking some of the garage doors down on the comercial property I'm redoing, I lifted the whole door all the way up and removed the cables since that is when they have the least tension on them, ya sounded like a good idea, I pulled the one side off and the door stayed all the say up so I went to the other side and pulled that one off, and that is when I realized I'm not Super Man, so standing on an 8 foot ladder, trying to hold this 10 foot high, 12 foot wide garage door up with one hand and it was just not going to happen, the door when CRASHING down, luckily I put a couple of buckets under the door so didn't hit the floor, since if it would have I didn't have any tools to take the garage door apart with and I would have been in quite a pickle............. Ya Bone Head moves, we've all done them...... Oh and by the way my jammed figure is feeling a lot better today.......
