  • Ebay impulse purchase

Too much time waiting on a job in a hotel room resulted in me buying a item I needed so bad I can't believe I did not have it, a ex Winston Cup/ ARCA Thunderbird. I have other projects and this one will need to wait, but how could I not buy it? For $1,207 I bought a car that still has brakes, fuel cell, rear end pump and cooler, radiator, spare front and rear clips. I think it will end up at Maxton and or Loring. A friend wants in on the project who has a pretty good 468 chevy laying around.

It would be interesting to know it's heritage and if any big names ever drove it.
Just groovin' to my own tune.

I just talked to the seller, I also get 2 front suspention clips, 1 rear clip, a seat and a bunch of other stuff. He is a ex alky dragster driver that now runs a Fiat altered.

If you clean anything up that isn't REQUIRED in order for it to move under it's own power you are a chump.

Other than that point, I approve. Oh, especially the chevy power part!
