Is there any performance benefit in using Type F Trans fluid? I guess it's something that has stayed with me for a number of years that I use Type F in our race car. What kinds of fluid are you guys using?

There's a rumor that it gives slightly firmer shifts. I guess I never had anything with soft enough shifting to notice a difference.
I use whatever is cheap at walmart. Usually one of the Dexron variations, an older one if they have it. If I'm working on an old ford, I'll use FLast edited by squirrel; May 4, 2011, 09:53 AM.My fabulous web page
