    never seen one.

looks complicated and not done enough at the same time.

does the exhaust literally go around the cylinder to get out?

    a bit confusing.

Yep, you got it. Exhaust port run around cylinders through the block. The center 2 cylinders share a common exhaust port and exit.
    Still plays with trucks....

Flatheads are neat little engines. As Ford141 pointed out, the middle two cylinders share an exhaust port unless you have some of those trick Ardun heads.

seems a crazy engine. I would keep it little too.

just one generation after is the non-siamese y-block? or is that all flathead too..

I found a 351 block, claimed to be non-siamese.. regular heads. That must be a legend. I donlt know what to call that, the M, cleveland, windsor...

3 mains are great on the 4 cyl boxer. Cannot get any more correct.

        that is a crazy 8.

          here is the 351 non-siamese

          this seems incredible.
I left off with engines wanting 366 GM and onward..but this seems even more a goal for what I wanted to do.
