Now that the mezzanine is nearing completion I needed to get the Mustang under it. As he's currently not operable this meant some way to slide it into place. I don't have a set of car skates and besides I wanted to get him off his tires as he sat waiting for me to get a round to-it. So I had jack stands and about a million 4 wheel dollies left from using them to move the structural steel for the mezz. So here's what I came up with:

And the car in it's new resting place. I think these pics may be in reverse order but I don't know why (they seem right on the edit page).

Anyhow, I found that the floor has to be perfectly clean and that the HF dollies do NOT have stout enough wheels even though I was WAY below their rated value. So I had a couple of small disasters but the concept is sound.
