Now, whatever tickles your pickle I say but , I just don't understand why the masses don't get together and rent a track for a night, or whatever to eliminate the chance for disaster , tickets, etc ? have a riot with your people, keep it semi-underground, heck turn off the track lights ?
Now have I done silly things in automobiles and motorbikes, sure ..but even back in the day they never ran what todays "street cars" can run , or even close ..good lord
Just a topic of discussion , if you dig it you do , don't take no offense to my non understanding of it

and before you think im some kid bragging about how "good" of a driver he is, im not, i know mine and the cars limitations and dont do anything stupid unless theres nobody around, ive still yet to be pulled over for anything but having lights out on my car or the cops thinking i was drunk because i was trying to dodge the bumps on these shitty maine roads that the tax money should go to instead of useless cops salariesformerly 1988montecarloss, 3198 posts

..and puke green 2.3 liter ford rangers in bangor maine with bellmouth "jdm yo" window vibrating exhaust.
the whole scene has changed because of idiot.
the power sounds of what used to be one slow thumping long gear pulling ten times as much reality is 6 speeds and screaming 3 foot tall ninja midgets.
I go back to being a giant fly swatter soon...call it surreal.
I witnessed only one death, never did learn specifics, appeared to be outright car fail on a turn. Rumors of street racing had to be put to rest.. it is then I learned entire locations are completely plagued, mentally retarded and deserve to stay in their land of lack of plenty.
as always..have nice day.

The street racing scene in Seattle is one where if your car isn't an honest 8 second car - go home.... I wonder how that will affect the scene? (honestly - seems to have actually reduced the big street races because most just can't compete)Doing it all wrong since 1966

Orange Airport in Massachusetts is having an event this year, which I am excited to check out, and in the 1990s a group staged a successful event at the Quonset Point air station in Rhode Island.
It works, and works well, but in typical fashion, red tape screws the whole thing up.That which you manifest is before you.

In a place where cops come $20/dozen, to say I got an adverse response would be like saying an atomic blast has a bit of a noise.
yeah, blame the lawyers... oh wait
you're a lawyer say it couldn't happen, you might not be, but for every good lawyer there is 50 ambulance chasing lawyers..

Here are my 2 things to say about drag racing...
1) I am sick of everytime there are two idiots (usually in imports) on the freeway trying to out bitchen each other, everyone calls that drag racing.
2) We have an 1/8th mile track near us...yeah I know it's an 1/8th mile but at least it's there...the key to it being there is it is on the Barona Indian Reservation. They have all kinds of stuff...paintball, casino, great hotel, concerts, motoX track where kids can learn...Guarded parking, because on the reservation it is actually legal for a native american member of that reservation to steal your car and keep it. Weird huh?
