if you see the 4 horsemen riding by, let me know.... hmm, that does bring up an interesting problem - as you have a red horse (okay, maroon mustang) does that mean only 3 others have to show up at your doorstep?

Well, Couric is no longer blabbing about it all, so that adds a brightness to my days....

This is what it looks like SE of here. Had many fires burning around here today fanned by high winds.

The fire threats locally, by PK lake have been kinda quelled by recent rains .. but, most of the state is far behind on rainfall .I have had 10 inches of here by Denton in the last month .

don't be talking about fires ................... i live were the 2003 fires in socal destroyed the mtn communities of big bear and running springs ,the slide and old fires in the san bernardino mtns . right now with the 24 plus inches of rain we've had this winter and being there's 8 years of growth on the mtns it's going to be a bad fire season here

Went to basement again this afternoon after tornado siren
                    went off.
Might seem crazy but I've got my chain saw down there......not for
downed trees but to cut my way in case.

I checked my normal motel out in Springfield, MO and looks like
I probably can't stay there for at least a month or so.....FEMA has taken
                    it over.

Oh.....to your original question....end of Oprah

that's a surface fire still nasty but be in or around a fully involved crown fire in a thick forest of pine tree's igniting their tree sap and exploding

We just had a tornado watch issued here for southern tier of upstate NY, till 10PM.

Maybe the world is coming to an end, and they were just off by a week or so........

God bless all those who are suffering from storm/flood related stuff, and God's speed to those who lost their lives.
