I've always had Hagerty and had good luck.

Can you get collector car insurance on an 18 year old car?
I thought they had to be 25 years old.......or at least in our state they have
to be that old to get historic plates.

I really like Hagerty. They're one of those "they do the right thing when they don't have to, even though it will cost them money" companies.

Yea the car hardly gets driven so I figured I’d save a few bucks by getting collector car insurance. Hell $170 a year sure beats what I’m paying now for a 6 month policy (6 months = $330)

must be 25 years old (in ma)
              must be garaged
must have another daily driver in your name.
              can't race it..
              can't mod it.
and limited use, no limit on miles, but just on use. get hit driving to work on friday, sorry your s.o.l.

your state, gruny and hag, said my monty had to be 25y/o garaged, unlimited miles, but no driving it to work/school/shopping
can't race it.. can't mod it.. if I choose to do that, they can drop me.
or check mark those boxes and the cost doubles..
just like you can't go load 2-3 yards of crushed stone and expect to be covered..

Actually, I can. I have regular old insurance on it. Not specialty insurance, and 2-3 yards would still be under the GVW. As long as it is for personal use, I'd be OK
