  • NHRR - Anyone know how's hurt & how bad?

One of our two intrepid broadcasters got hurt getting off the scaffolding this afternoon at BG. Anyone know who and how bad? Latest I heard was a torn-up hand that required stitches.

Glad it was not worse. If it's a bloodfest, I'll stay home tomorrow and drink beer. But I guess I'll venture that way and see what's up.

When the nurse tells you that you have a roast beef hand that is pretty good...I have awesome photos and Chad has been shooting video the whole time. Pouring buckets now....got yelled at for using the ring cutter myself to cut off the ring that was holding my finger together...this is a nice hospital...they have not thrown us out yet

hospital...sounds serious. Ok everyone, post your gore pics. I'll start with one of me

and one of Chad, but you can't see the gore. He did sound like a little girl though, and it looked like it hurt plenty.

Well, you'll always remember BG lol. I'm glad you're ok though. That scaffolding looked scary as crap this morning; I can't imagine how it'd be after the rain.

Okay, I'm not in Safety, but I am. Kinda in bed together, what with procedure and all. So we have to do an analysis of the incident (we can't call them accidents, they are all incidents).

                          Was it:

                          1. Failure to recognize the hazard (that's all-encompassing).

                          2. Failure to wear the proper PPE for the task.

                          3. I don't think there is a "3." Those two cover it.

So, testify...how did it happen? The results are obvious.

We are waiting on stitches for Brian. Put up your guesses now for how many he will get and the person that is closest without going over will get a prize.
