  • Need info on camaro please read.....

My neighbor has a 1999 camaro and the hood now has a big dent in it from some asshole that backed into it and drove off in a 4-wheel drive. What other year Camaro hoods will fit this model? It is not a Z 28

Would be nice if a 97 model hood is the same I have access to one of those.
    Thanks for any info.

Go online to <shermanparts.com>. Look the car up using their locator and you'll find aftermarket parts as well as the listing of what model years they fit. Good prices and, by inference, lots of info.

A quick way to see if car parts interchange is to use google images to find out what a 1999 camaro looks like, and what a 1997 camaro looks like. They look different. Something about the front end being redesigned in 1998. Sorry.

Yeah, the 1997 hood is flat where a 1999 hood has buldges from the head lights on back to the windshield.

I was just visiting a friend's used car lot, he's into hot rods too. Has a 98-up camaro sitting there caved in on the pass side. Wonder if it needs it's hood?
