  • Anyone get their new HOTROD yet and read the article of the roadtrip '66 Special?

It struck a soft spot deep within me...... that convertible Special and my Hardtop together, hmmm... Would make a nice matched set?

Bring it up here next year, we will make it run and look purdy, or satin... That would be a fun project.

Eh! Leave it like it is. Let's rob banks!

Todd, you do realize you are falling into a trap that was lain with the utmost care, just for you? I've been scheming for a year on how to get you to volunteer to work on this heap!

And I do travel to the middle of the west coast of Michigan on a regular basis.....

It would appear to be a perfect project for him.

The middle west coast is still a long way from where I am... look farther north. Way up above the 45th parallel. Yeah up there with all the snow and farther north than some Canadian cities.

As long as it isnt as rusty as this GTO, and you dont want it absolutely perfect, then perhaps we can make a deal. What you have to trade? Or you can come up and we can do it in a month, overhaulin style... You order/find the parts ahead of time..

The article was pretty good. Something maybe they should do from time to time. Great to see old cars back on the road.

I did.....and while it was cool, it seems DF has sorta done this before in the pages of CC. The yellow Buick ragtop with the Moon discs...comfy low-buck ragtops.

As an aside, no way in hell Harrah's gonna be able to drive that Pete on the road....DOT will shut him down in a heartbeat.
