I have been thinking of picking up models of my cars. I've seen they even make a '70 Impala model. I see them at the swap meets sold by the model vendors. They are pricey, but it's not a everyday purchase.

Here's one of mine. 1969 Corvair with wheels and tires from the AMT Copperhead concept car. Brake rotors are 1/4" washers with aftermarket cast metal calipers.

I gave away about 10 boxes of model stuff a few years ago. I hadn't touched them in probably 10 years and realized that I probably never would. I gave everything away for free on Craigslist, figured I'd rather see someone use the stuff than let it fall apart in my basement.
