That color would have been my choice too, just happened to be the stick that the dealership was hoping some gearhead would take off their hands. They couldn't keep the automatics in stock, but the rare stick they got from Detroit would sit more months in the showroom. That was not a standard color, costing an additional $995.00.

I'm jealous, nice car! Funny about the stick. A few months ago I took my daughter to the dentist office for her check up. While she was in, I was reading an old issue of Car and Driver. I just flipped open and saw an editorial with the title of "Save the Manuals". So in this day and age I was thinking the printed owners manual was being substituted for a DVD and that owners would really rather have a written manual. Noooo, it was about stick shift cars or lack of in today's world. One funny comment was by a guy who just bought a new stick BMW. His son wanted to know what the 3rd pedal was for! Sad.TomOverdrive is overrated

Hushinhano,
When I learned to drive under the radar (older sister wanted to ride back home with boyfriend after a day of skiing so 14 year little bro got to drive our car trans Sierra in the winter time) all we had were sticks, and 1st wasn't snycro. Two years later when I "legally" learned to drive in high school driver's ed, we had a choice of stick or auto. I would have chose the stick anyways, but one of the cars had a strong incentive to choose a stick, it was a 1968 white Ford Galaxy 500 fastback, red bucket seats, 4 speed top loader, 390 FE 4 bbl, and that my new good friends was the driver's training car I learned on.
