It has an HEI style distributor, with Acell Super Coil on it. Just decoded the VIN and it was built in CA and does have a small CA inspection sticker on the lower corner of the windshield. I like this car.
Decided to hold of on any stripes for now, as can add them next year if I do want to.

I'll admit I no real knowledge about the LT1 motors. This car was advertised as powered by an LT1, but I knew it had an edelbrock carb & intake. I saw the vavle covers with the bolts going through the center of them (not on the upper & lower lips) so figured it was modified. How can I tell what motor it is? Do they still use 3 numbers/letters on the passenger side of the block by the head?Comment
