just picked myself up off the floor, that's the funniest sh*t i've heard all week. Hope they pull it off!

Just curious, how many c.i. is 1/4 of 572? (thats what was in it at loring, no?) or was it another new motor?
Yes, I'm a CarJunkie... How many times would YOU rebuild the same engine before getting a crate motor?

                the 572 or the 491?

The little motor would be 122, big motor 143. Does not surprise me at all that they'd try it, really.

What looks like a Camaro, sounds like a Harley, and accelerates like an Acura? Stay tuned...

I'm laughing my ass off right now. If they're doing it, I want videos.
                    Editor-at-Large at...well, here, of course!

Yup, notice the vents on the carburetor are gone? One destroyed a piston, the other was ready to fall out.

                            Buwhahaha!

That's gonna be a weird sounding sucker. Because I guess you'd have to back off the intake rockers and leave 6 of the spark plugs out!!!

                            We need video.

Is there anyway to block off 6 unused intake runners? With the intake valves closed would the fuel puddle up in the head and intake, cause any problem?
