it was only a qualifing pass who's to say they didn't give it full beans on that run and are saving what is left of the car for the record passes

That has to be the most expensive 35mph car EVER! Hell don't vespa's run faster than that?

Thing is it only takes something like 10hp to keep 3500lbs moving at 40mph....... So I'm taking it the other 6 cylinders not working are really working against them......Last edited by TC; August 17, 2011, 05:41 PM.

I have broken boosters off with a screwdriver before
freak stuff , but efi would have cured the problem hahahahahaha OMG LOL

And just thinking here, which I know can be very dangerous, but could I drive the Turbo T-bird to Bonneville, remove two of the spark plug wires and try to break their record??

At that MPH why even use the blower??, I'm sure it's not being spun fast enough to create any sort of boost and probably robbing more power than it's producing......

I think some guy on a weird home made motorcycle with a tiny diesel engine qualified for a record at like 28 mph. Hell, they may be running against him.
