    what wheels would you run?

What rims would you run on this car.
Also keep in mind, the roof is black with copper lace. Interior is stock white/brown.

i'd either put a white wall tire on it and run them the way it is either that or maybe a white pinstripe on the wheels to tie in the white stripe on the car.

Keepin, blackwalls. The stripe isn't white, it's the aluminum sport tone.

I was thinking torq thrusts, and maybe even drag lights, like Fury Jim's '58 runs sometimes.

Aluminum slots or Halibrand knock offs for the vintage vibe.

I'd leave the factory wheels on it.

This. Get them as wide as the wheelwell will allow and it would look tough.
                  I'm probably wrong

Chrome smoothies - black powder coated centers (or painted copper) - with cop caps.
And you can change caps to Lancers - Spyders - or run full caps to change the look easily.
There should be examples of all of them in this link.

Ansens might look cool or some Hailbrand knock offs...

some kind of funky late 50s flipper type wheel covers. There were pages of them in the JC W catalog....

It's really hard to imagine that with hot rod go fast wheels on it, but that's probably because I got to ride around in a 57 plymouth wagon when I was a wee lad.

one thing for sure, the 30 year old cop car hubcaps don't make it, if that's what they are. kind of hard to see.

On an old cruiser wagon like that, some american racing Salt Flat Specials in 17x8 would be pretty cool.
