watching Xtreme 4x4 - diesel rebuild - holy crap look at the con rods!

I just wish they'd tell how much all that cost ....

I got curious and had to look it up. They put Carrillo H beam rods in it, looks like 2500-3100 for just the rods. Youch.

I've never been inside a diesel but I'm watching them do a rebuild on a Duramax. FAWK - I think the conrods in that thing weigh more than my first bicycle! Unbelievable. No wonder these things can put up with insane horsepower stock. They make my 460 rods look like a briggs and stratton rod.
