I was gonna say, "Hey...I may have seen that before!" Then I saw the Mass plate and now I know I've seen it.

      WOW

black primer WORKS on that car.

I wonder how much faster it would go with a set of blue thunder heads....

its like your a bug being drawn into the bug zapper light, you see ANY car with a tunnel ram of a blower sticking thru the hood, it sucks you and you want to take a closer look just because its not the daily norm

Such a shame to cut a hole in the hood. No reason to do it with turbo and fuel injection technology now a days.

                Yeah, right......

Anyone remember why Ed Roth's stuff was popular? He knew the secret - "Exposed mechanicals - that's what people like to see!".

It's no fun when you hide it under a hood.

When I go to the Auburn-Cord-Deusenberg Museum in Auburn, IN I'm always disappointed when the hoods are closed. Sort of the same idea, I think. LOVE to see those mechanical bits.

There was a guy here in the Toronto area in the late 70s / early 80s that had a Mark III with a blown 460. Super clean car in black with Cragar S/S wheels, the combo looked awesome. Hot Rod Lincoln for sure!

                    cheers

                      It's absolutely ridiculous. That's why it's awesome.

Sometimes cool stuff doesn't make sense when you apply logic. Doesn't change the fact that it's effin' cool.

you guys must be older lol. To me that car would be WAY cooler looking like that with a stock hood and a twin turbo bb. Then when he walks away from a new vette the guys is like ummmm wtf?

I'm 31 and I'd take the roots huffer (realizing all the power I was giving away in a direct comparo to a turbo setup) for the attitude alone. Plus you can bolt that biotch on in a weekend and be done with it.
