This begs the question, if this is that popular everywhere and with Camaros, Mustangs and Challengers avail new why isn't there a spec class or something for them?. Maybe NASCAR doesn't want the competition

There are several roadracing series in the USA where these cars are raced. Grand Am comes to mind.
