The truck will be sitting on asphalt, and I am going to wrap a big chain around the stump and pull the chain with the wrecker unit. All parties will be evacuated from the area and I'll have the cables weighted in case they break. If I can do it on Monday, I will. If not it will be next weekend. That mother is going down.
Brian
Steve, the Lohnes Super Pull is slated to go down this Sunday. I ran outta gas and time on Monday after swapping all the rubber onto the wrecker. I am formulating my approach this week.
Brian
Steve, it is on. You'll have video, win, lose, or draw. The only sandbags you'll see will be hanging over the cables to prevent anyone from getting all kilt.
(Outside of this super heated thread, the truck is totally awesome)
Brian
I'm really looking forward to seeing this epic battle of truck vs. nature. Bry, I know I might have went over the line when I was pressing you on this in the other post. Now Sunday has arrived and its on. Don't hurt yourself, but a fail video is still a video, and you can try again and again as a recurring BS feature.

that is the only way i have done it with the old 94 f150
Ya I've always eased them out......, I'm thinking you better be wearing your seat belt, just in case it doesn't come out.....Or your eating steering wheel big time!!!!!
Spent 4 hours in the hospital with Tom after he cut himself on the truck today. Got a few stitches in his finger. Pretty shitty day. Shot no video and Kerri currently thinks the truck is the anti-christ. Never got to the stump pulling part.
This has been a weekend full of fail.

He's OK, but it was a bad deal. The injury itself was not crazy, a decent cut at the top of one of his fingers. Tears your guts out when you see a little guy hurt and scared.
He was really mad at himself for getting cut. He was not doing anything he shouldn't have been, his hand caught an edge of the running board as he was climbing up.
Ouch, sorry to hear about the little guy, hope he heals quickly.
Editor-at-Large at...well, here, of course!
"Remy-Z, you've outdone yourself again, I thought a Mirada was the icing on the cake of rodding, but this Imperial is the spread of little 99-cent candy letters spelling out "EAT ME" on top of that cake."
The running boards were to be the shining advance with this new purchase, and now they have drawn Lohnes blood? DAM CHEVY!
I did mention something about a Tetinus shot at the off ramp on RT 88, I just had the wrong Lohnes that should get the shot I guess.
It will turn the ladd into a man. Get Kerri that Spa day we talked about, and a nice dinner out, DON'T launch the stump through the front house window, and all should be fine in month or so and back to normal lol.

Thanks dudes. The thing that's gnawing my guts now is knowing that he'll be hurting tomorrow. Granted when I tore the living shit out of my hand in Bowling Green, the damage was far more extensive, but day two was rough. We're going to keep him on a regemin of ibuprofin over the next couple days.
Today is definitely one of those days you want to start over.
