It's probably a month to early, but I think it's time (with Brian's permission) we all start thinking about the nominiees.
I'm thinking it would take a bit to get some catagorys, then maybe a poll, a vote....then all the awards happen around the holidays.
Help, suggestions....What say you?
I've got some ideas, but I'm gonna wait until I hear some responces.

Dude, we literally had a conversation about doing something to revive the Ollie awards and after checking around, figured that we'd get the shit sued out of us because Car Craft/Source Interlink still owns that deal even though they do nothing with it and probably never will again.

As far as doing it on the board? Hell yeah!

Naw, he's already in the running for the Lazarus award; if that car had been in the weather a year or two more and he'd be in the Creator award (making dust into a car).

Todd's undoubted win in the Lazurus category would be Most with the Least.
The Two Cylinder Turk-a-Burger is a shoe in for Least with the Most.

SBG's gonna be singular in category for lunacy. I'm not sure what we'd call that category? It sorta fits into hotrodding with a V6, or maybe best hack of a foreign car? There's another hot V6 here. Hmmmm. Foreign repower class, there's an RX7 and a Fiat that I can remember.

There's a couple of best use for an Inline Six contestants that will make that a tough call

Randal for the In-and-Out-and-In-and-Out

Jim and James for blowing up big blocks and non-chalantly putting them back together. That's gonna be a tough category.

The I sell it before I finish building it category is heating up, and there are a couple of standout running over a buck thirty for less than 2 grand cars that come to mind.

Blown class, hmmm.. have to split it up almost? We've got just about everything you can think of being done this year.

I think we've covered just about everything else for questions on injection... I don't think anyone has mentioned 7 cylinders if we don't count BKB's flying lifter oil pressure pics.

How could I forget the most beautful injection setups class... that one is gonna be a real hand wringer, there's at least two museum class pieces of art here recently!

Engine Porn is gonna be a tough call

Freight trains, tow trucks, staionary steam engines, diesels, homebrew alcohol power, atkinsons, flux capacitors, the only thing I don't think has been covered at one point or another is a Stirling!

The internet pro engine builder category is ripe with contestants, as is the My Project Stalled category. I'm hoping to get a mention in here myself.

And then there is the long running battle for Resident Pain in the Ass. Again, hoping for at least a mention. HA!

When is the voting going to start? I'm hoping to squeeze into the fastest tow truck class since I think I can keep mine between the lines now.

Best project, (wow so many so little space, but I go with BBR Mustang, Randal' 6 popper, ToyMaker Twin Engine, etc).

Best live coverage event, (March Meet was good, did not get to see much of the infamous Bowling Green coverage,)
